Emerald Xara is a next-generation luxury superyacht accommodating up to 128 guests, designed to combine the intimacy of a boutique yacht with contemporary spaces, personalised service and an emphasis on open-air living. Emerald describes Xara as sharing the sleek design and onboard experience of Emerald Kaia, with spacious social areas and private accommodation designed to make the most of the views around you.
Throughout the yacht, you’ll find a choice of inviting spaces for relaxing, socialising and enjoying the scenery. The design includes an Observation Deck, pool deck and alfresco areas, while the yacht’s compact size creates a more intimate atmosphere than you would find on a traditional cruise ship. An attentive onboard team, including the captain and crew, hotel director, activity and wellness team and culinary experts, provides a highly personalised level of service throughout your time on board.
There are plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors on Emerald Xara, with open-air spaces designed around the coastal views. You can relax around the pool, take in the scenery from the Observation Deck or spend time in the yacht’s social spaces, whether you’re looking to catch up with fellow guests or find somewhere quieter to yourself. The yacht experience is deliberately relaxed, giving you the freedom to enjoy the facilities at your own pace.
For wellness, you’ll have access to a dedicated Wellness Centre, Elements Spa and well-equipped gym, alongside fitness classes led by the wellness and activity team. Treatments such as massages are available at an additional cost, while the yacht’s wellness offering also includes opportunities to take part in activities designed to keep you active and help you unwind. The onboard team includes a dedicated wellness coach, adding a more personal touch to the fitness and wellbeing experience.
Dining on Emerald Xara follows Emerald’s focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and regional flavours, with meals served in elegant surroundings. La Cucina Dining is the main restaurant, offering à la carte dining alongside breakfast and lunch, with an adjoining terrace providing the option to dine outdoors. The culinary team uses seasonal ingredients to create dishes inspired by the regions you travel through.
You’ll also have a choice of relaxed spaces for drinks and lighter refreshments. The Amici Bar & Lounge is the main social hub, serving wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks, while the Sky Bar provides an open-air setting for enjoying a drink with panoramic views. Emerald includes a selection of beverages throughout the day, with an extensive choice of cocktails, beers, wines and branded spirits available on board.
Emerald Xara offers a choice of contemporary suites and staterooms, ranging from Ocean View Staterooms through to expansive Owner’s Suites. Every accommodation category includes an en-suite bathroom, luxury ESPA toiletries, Wi-Fi, a TV and infotainment system, and a queen or twin-sized bed with quality linens. The accommodation is designed as a private sanctuary, combining modern styling with plenty of space to relax.
For more space and outdoor living, Balcony Suites feature private balconies, while the larger Deluxe Balcony Suites have separate bedroom and lounge areas. At the top end, the Owner’s Suites feature separate bedroom and lounge areas, a walk-in wardrobe and a large private terrace, while Yacht Suites and Terrace Suites provide particularly generous outdoor spaces. This gives you a choice between a comfortable private retreat and a much larger suite designed for extended relaxation indoors and outside.
